Hello and welcome to my blog. I’m back with CASEing the Catty Blog Hop after taking last week off. I was volunteering and competing in a 3 day sporting event. It was an exhausting weekend but a very successful weekend as well.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mum’s out there. Marvi bought me a gorgeous arrangement of flowers, who knew he could order online, he’s such a clever boy lol.
You may have hopped over from Kathryn’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
It wasn’t difficult for me to pick my favourite project from the brand new catalogue. The first item on my wish list was the Sun Prints Suite. It’s on page 90 of the catalogue and includes a stamp set with matching dies, an embossing folder and some stunning DSP.
I’ve CASEd the card in the bottom left hand corner of page 90. I liked this card so much I haven’t changed a single thing, just added one extra layer.
The card base is Starry Sky followed by a layer of Gray Granite. The next layer of Starry Sky has been embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder then I’ve swiped my Whisper White stamp pad across the top of it. It’s so easy to do and gives the embossed ferns such a great look.
I have added a piece of the Sun Prints DSP which I partially die cut with the same die I used for the sentiment. I’ve used So Saffron and Pacific Point ink for my stamped images and die cut them with the co-ordinating dies.
Marvi looked a bit sad today. I told him of my plans to makeover my small backyard, removing all the grass and planting a tropical oasis, I’m not sure he’s onboard with that idea. Or maybe he didn’t really like my card, who knows.
It’s time to hop over and see Lauren’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
We’d love for you to join our challenge. Click below and send us a request to join then just upload your new creation to the wall.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, wow, I love your gorgeous card! That embossing folder hadn’t caught my eye, but I love what you’ve done with it. Hopefully Marvi cheers up soon!
